1. Eligibility
To use tripTrace, you must:
- Be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required by your local laws).
- Provide accurate registration information.
- Keep your account information up to date.
- Be responsible for all activity on your account.
2. User Account
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and maintaining account confidentiality. Report unauthorized access immediately. tripTrace is not responsible for losses resulting from failure to protect your credentials.
3. Trip Recording
tripTrace allows users to record and manage travel trips. By recording a trip, you acknowledge that:
- GPS accuracy may vary depending on device, environment, and network conditions.
- Recorded routes may contain minor inaccuracies.
- You are responsible for verifying your recorded trip before submitting it.
4. Trip Submission and Admin Approval
All trips submitted for publication may be reviewed by tripTrace administrators (Approve, Reject, Request modifications, or Remove inappropriate content). A trip is publicly visible only after approval. Editing an approved trip may require re-approval.
5. User Generated Content
You retain ownership of your uploaded trip info, photos, videos, audio, comments, stories, and profile content. By uploading content, you grant tripTrace a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, display, process, and distribute the content solely for operating and improving the platform.
6. Prohibited Content
You must not upload content that is illegal, contains hate speech, promotes violence or pornography, violates copyright, includes spam/misleading info, fake travel experiences, or promotes dangerous driving. tripTrace reserves the right to remove prohibited content without prior notice.
7, 8, 9 & 10. Conduct, Messaging, Stories & Moderation
Users must treat others respectfully, follow local safety/traffic rules, and refrain from spam, phishing, malware, or impersonation in messaging. Users can post stories, like, comment, and report or block malicious accounts.
11 & 12. Coins, Rewards & Premium Content
tripTrace may provide virtual reward coins for achievements, registration, and trip publication. Reward coins have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for real money, and grant license access to premium features without transferring content ownership.
13. Intellectual Property
All rights related to tripTrace (logo, design, UI, source code, branding, and features) are owned by tripTrace or its licensors. Users may not copy, modify, or reverse engineer any part without permission.
14 & 15. Privacy & Account Termination
Your use is also governed by our Privacy Policy. tripTrace reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate Terms, engage in fraud, or circumvent security systems.
16 & 17. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability
tripTrace provides travel info as-is. We do not guarantee accuracy of user content, road conditions, weather, or GPS precision. To the maximum extent permitted by law, tripTrace shall not be liable for travel delays, lost data, device failures, or injuries. Users assume full responsibility for travel decisions.
18, 19 & 20. Changes, Governing Law & Contact Us
tripTrace may update these Terms periodically. Continued use constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.
